THE STORY OF BLACK CAT FORGE
The Way It Should Be
I've always enjoy working with metal and leather.
I started by making the leather flyswatters as gifts and then I started to sell a few locally. I weld a lot on the ranch and have always found blacksmith interesting, so I decided to give it a shot. I enjoy the freedom and creativity that working with metal and leather brings.
I am also a 4-H Project Leader for Metal Working. I enjoy teaching the kids and passing my skills on down to the next generation to keep Blacksmithing alive. Working with the metal teaches the kids a lot of skills they will need in their adult lives. Working with the metal teaches them patience, creativity, respect, disappointment, and perseverance, just to name a few.
I try and add new products every week, but with the other duties that come with living on a ranch, it's sometimes hard. So if you have an idea you'd like to see come to life just drop me a line and if it's something we can do, we'd love to make your idea a reality.
